2026 Innovation Grant Update
In 2026, we’ve awarded a record 143 Innovation Grants to schools and districts across the country. These supplemental grants help offset the cost of Innovation Labs®, CTE centers, classroom transformations, the Innovation Science curriculum, and professional learning.
Our new online grant application makes the process easy. We’re expediting grant reviews to coincide with the end of the school year.
Our National Invention Contest is Next Week and is Being Filmed for TV
Schools using the Innovation Science course take part in our National Invention Contest. Last year’s contest was featured on the Telly Award-winning TV show Tomorrow’s World Today on the Discovery and Science Channels, and we’ll be filming the contest on May 21 for a worldwide audience. The show will highlight the incredible inventions students create through our program. Good luck to all the student teams competing at our Pittsburgh headquarters or virtually. STEM is not Enough. Discovery is.
Our Innovation Science curriculum for elementary, middle, and high school students does both. It reinforces crucial STREAM concepts while blending the scientific method with innovation and invention. Students work in small teams to identify problems, develop ideas, build prototypes, and pitch their own inventions. Several student groups have secured licensing agreements for their inventions through our curriculum. The student inventions are featured on the Discovery and Science channels through our national invention contest. Bring the “Wow Factor” to Your School or District
See how outdated classrooms and underused spaces can be transformed into future-ready immersive environments we call Innovation Labs®. Our team also designs inspiring CTE spaces, media centers, entranceways, eSports rooms, language labs, and other specialized learning environments for K–12 schools across North America.
May is National Inventors Month. MEET the Students who earned actual licensing agreements
National Inventors Month is a time to celebrate ideas, creativity, and the students who turn problems into solutions. At Inventionland Education, it is also an opportunity to highlight what sets the program apart. Students are not only learning about innovation. They are actually becoming inventors, with some earning real licensing agreements for their work.
Celebrating Educators That Make a Difference
Mrs. A works with K-8 students to instill a love of learning, discovery, STEM, and entrepreneurship in their newly designed Innovation Center at Lincoln Elementary School District 156 in Calumet City, IL. Their team at Inventionland Education reimagined their space into an extraordinary environment for learning, exploration, and hands-on activities.
Plan Your End-of-Year, Summer, or New School Year Professional Learning
Join schools across the country that use our Professional Learning programs to help educators get the most out of STEM, electronics, and maker-based learning environments. Our sessions give teachers practical strategies, hands-on experience, and the confidence to bring new technologies and creative problem-solving into the classroom.
Whether you’re planning an end-of-year workshop, a summer training session, or a kickoff for the new school year, we can help educators start strong and create better learning outcomes.
Have an Idea? We’d Love to Hear from You.
Some of our very best ideas come from educators like you. If you have something you’d like to share or an idea on how we can make our curriculum, projects, or professional learning even better, please drop us a line.
