How the Inventionland Education Process Works with Typical Installation Times of Just 2-4 Days

Transforming a school space involves much more than selecting furniture or choosing colors. District leaders must consider how the room will be used, what the project will cost, how long it will take, and how the finished environment will support students and teachers.

Step 1: Discovery Meeting

The process begins with a conversation about the school’s goals. Inventionland Education provides an overview of its work, and the district or school discusses the project’s size and scope. Timing, budget, available space, and educational priorities are also reviewed during this meeting.

Step 2: Design Meeting

The school provides photos, videos, measurements, floor plans, and other available information about the space. The design team reviews these materials and discusses possible themes, layouts, and room features. Once both sides agree on the general direction, a design agreement is prepared and signed.

Step 3: Concepts Presentation

Next, the school receives floor plans and renderings that show how the new environment will look. Administrators and staff can review the proposed design, ask questions, and suggest changes. After the plans are approved, Inventionland Education provides a final quote for the build.

Step 4: Build Phase

During the build phase, the engineering work is completed, and the custom elements are manufactured. Furniture and other materials are ordered, and installation dates are scheduled.

Because the design and production work is handled in advance, the amount of disruption inside the school can be kept to a minimum.

Step 5: Installation

Most Inventionland Education immersive environments can be installed in just two to four days.

Before installation begins, the team confirms the schedule, shipping arrangements, building access, and other site details. Inventionland Education can complete the installation or work with the school’s own team. Furniture and environmental elements are then placed and finished.

Step 6: Grand Opening

Once the room is complete, the school can introduce it to students, families, staff, and the community. Inventionland Education can help coordinate a press release, local media outreach, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, or an open house.

The result is a learning space designed to support creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and hands-on learning from the first day it opens.
