Students Score Big as Their Invention Hits the Market after Winning Inventionland Contest
Mia Mertz and Madison Mulato won their invention contest while 8th-graders at Grove City Middle School in Pennsylvania. Their invention was so well-received it earned them a licensing agreement and was featured in March at The Inspired Home Show in Chicago. This event gathers home and housewares professionals from over 120 countries to discover new products and industry trends.

Beyond the traditional classroom’s confines, students can explore their interests and unleash their creative potential in an innovative and entrepreneurial environment. Participants work in small groups of 2-4 members to develop their invention or innovation.
